Marymoor Amphitheater Rules

All children three years and older attending a regular concert performance must have tickets regardless of seat area. However, the organizer asks fans to NOT bring in any children under the age of 6 into the reserved section. This is because the volume level near the stage may be too high for sensitive ears.

The Marymoor Amphitheater implements certain rules and regulations designed to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and performers at the venue. Make sure you have read these rules thoroughly before you attend the amphitheater.

Bag policy

Any bags, purses, or backpacks brought into the Marymoor Amphitheater must not be larger than 14 inches x 14 inches x 14 inches. All bags will be subject to a check when entering the venue.

Camera policy

As with cameras, most artists’ contracts forbid recording devices. This rule is a little more strict than the camera policy, as it applies to the majority of artists’ contracts and to both video and audio devices.

The purchase of a ticket to an event at Marymoor Amphitheater acts as an agreement that any media devices found to be recording are subject to confiscation. The media device in question will also become the property of the artist.

Cashless policy

Marymoor Amphitheater is an entirely cashless venue. Only valid debit and credit cards are accepted. Cash is not accepted at any points of sale, including in the Base Camp area.

First aid

A first aid tent can be found at the North end of the Marymoor Amphitheater. It is clearly marked to make it as easy to spot as possible. EMTs are also available, and they will be able to assist with any medical emergency that arises.

Lost and found

Any items lost during a concert are turned in at the General Store tent, close to the main entry gates. Please check there if you lose an item to see if it has been turned in.

If you realize you have lost an item after the show and the gates are closed, contact the venue at [email protected]. You can also leave a voicemail at 206 489 0502.

Picnic policy

Due to the outdoor nature of the venue, there is a policy regarding picnicking and outside food and beverage. This policy is designed to allow guests to create their own small picnics in a controlled manner.

Beverages from the outside are not allowed. However, there is a small exception to this. Guests may bring one filled factory-sealed water bottle inside, though this must not be larger than 20 ounces. One of these bottles is permitted per guest.

Empty water bottles are also allowed, so long as they are reusable and not glass. They can be filled inside the venue at one of the three filtered water refill stations.

Outside food is permitted, but it must be brought inside via non-glass containers.

Keep in mind that there is a wide selection of food and beverages – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – available to purchase inside the venue.

Security

When attending the venue, you must pass through metal detectors and have your bag checked. This is for the safety and security of everyone in the amphitheater.

When passing through the metal detectors, remove any metal objects you might have on your person or in your bags. This will make the process go much faster and get you into the venue quicker. Bring as few items as possible so that the bag check will also be swift.

For the safety and comfort of all guests in the venue, the Marymoor Amphitheater asks that you be vigilant while in attendance. If you are being harassed, or you witness harassment, be sure to alert a member of security as soon as possible.

Shoe policy

The relaxing and picturesque nature of the surroundings at the Marymoor Amphitheater encourages an informal atmosphere. However, the venue asks that all guests wear their shoes when inside the venue. This is for your safety, as it is easy to accidentally hurt yourself when going barefoot.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are not allowed within the main body of the Marymoor Amphitheater. However, there are designated areas for smokers and vapers located outside of the main area.

Camera Policy

This depends on the artists’ contracts. Most of them either prohibit cameras all together or prohibit the use of cameras with flashbulbs and professional type cameras.

Furthermore, the MAJORITY OF CONTRACTS absolutely forbid any type of recording devices, audio or video. By purchasing a ticket, you have agreed that any media devices can be confiscated and become the property of the artist.

Weather Policy

All Marymoor Park Concerts clearly take place in an outdoor venue. Thus, patrons should be prepared for any bad weather as performances take place rain or shine. Additionally, patrons should also bring sunscreen if necessary.

We ask you to be mindful and respectful of other guests and those around you.
