Sublime’s domination of the reggae rock and ska punk genres, and the entire indie music industry, has been decades long and at this point needs to be studied. Formed in 1988, the band ‘s core members were childhood friends, and began playing gigs in and around Long Beach in the late 80s. Originally shunned from bookers for being too “experimental”, the band worked within the Southern California music industry - gaining small accolades and fame through the early 90s. They blew up organically - finding success on the radio and by heavily touring. After a short hiatus in 1996 following the death of band member Bradley Novell, songs like Santeria, Wrong Way, and Doin’ Time helped propel the band into further stardom, cementing their place in the southern Cali music scene - alongside contemporaries like No Doubt and The Smokestacks. Now, with over 20 million records sold worldwide and millions of monthly listeners across streaming all platforms - Sublime are certified OGs. And when they come to town, we all make sure we're at the stage ready to cling on to every word they sing.
So - you guys ready to party?! Are you ready for the night of a lifetime?? Good - because we are too! Tickets are up NOW, and we can’t wait to rock out and dance with you! See you soon - right here at Marymoor!
